Server platform design manufacturer TYAN announced its GPU supporting platforms are compatible with the latest NVIDIA Tesla K40 GPU accelerators. Ranging from 1U to 4U and compatible with one to eight GPUs, the TYAN GA80-B7061, TA77-B7061, and FT77A-B7059 are undergoing the compatibility validation process, and bundle programs will be released soon.
For customers looking for general paralleling processing capability, the company says its new GA80-B7061 supports two units of K40 GPU accelerators and two units of the Intel Xeon Processor E5-2600 v2 product family in a 1U chassis.
The TA77-B7061 supports up to four K40s and two Xeon processors in a 2U chassis. The FT77A-B7059 is the company’s highest-density GPU platform, and supports up to eight units of the Tesla K40 and two units of the Xeon processors in a 4U chassis.
