3D Systems announced the immediate availability of the Sense 3D scanner for Mac and feature upgrades available with Sense software v1.1. The Sense is available on 3DS’ consumer destination site, Cubify.com, as well as at select retailers around the world. Current Sense users can download software v1.1 on Cubify.com.
Sense has flexible scan size and can capture everything from a cupcake to a full-body selfie, processing data in seconds for an instantly 3D printable file, the company says. New features for v1.1 include improved scan tracking and stability, and upgraded auto-enhance that correct brightness and color with just one click. Sense comes with an intuitive user interface with easy and automated zoom, track, focus, crop, and share tools. Its printables can be sent to Cube and CubeX 3D printers, or directly uploaded to Cubify.com for cloud printing in a range of materials, including Ceramix, Aluminix and Clear.
