Meggitt Sensing Systems has introduced Endevco models 752A12 and 752A13, a family of low noise, low weight, single axis ISOTRON accelerometers with integral Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (iTEDS) capabilities, per IEEE-P1451.4, designed to support a variety of larger channel count, lower frequency vibration measurements, including automotive transmission testing, ride quality, NVH and component durability testing; seismic measurements of buildings, equipment and civil structures; vibration monitoring of heavy machinery and equipment; and general in-laboratory testing.
Available in high sensitivities of 100 mV/g and 1000 mV/g, respectively, the stable performance of Endevco models 752A12 and 752A13 are due to the incorporation of Meggitt s own proprietary piezoelectric crystal sensing element, operating in annular shear mode, allowing for low base strain sensitivity. Low-frequency measurement capabilities are due to amplitude responses of 0.05 to 10,000 Hz ( ±1 dB) (model 752A12); and 0.3 to 10,000 Hz ( ±1 dB) (models 752A13). Their lightweight (13 gm) and compact size minimizes mass loading effects. In addition, as self-generating devices, these accelerometers require no external power source for operation.
Units are shipped with the Endevco model 3061A-120 low-noise cable and 2981-12 mounting studs for easy installation. The devices feature a comprehensive five-year product warranty, with quantities available for immediate shipment under Meggitt s Endevco Guaranteed In Stock program. They are also available at specially discounted rates as part of the "R replacement sensors program.
