dSPACE Ships New DS1007 PPC Processor Board

dSPACE has expanded its portfolio and added the new DS1007 PPC Processor Board for developing control systems. This board is suited for complex applications that rely on high-speed, closed-loop performance.

The DS1007 is built with PowerPC architecture based on the dual-core, 2 GHz processor QorlQ P5020 by Freescale. It features a parallel interface with I/O peripherals and computing cores, Gigabit Ethernet for PC connectability, closed-loop computation of Simulink models and a USB interface for long-term data acquisition.

This processor board meets requirements for high computing power and low-latency I/O access, the company states.
