Agilent Technologies Introduces Family of Basic AC Power Sources

Agilent Technologies has released a series of basic AC power sources that provide stable, reliable power for testing electronic devices during design and manufacturing, according to the company. The new Agilent AC6800 Series includes four models from 500 to 4000 VA output power.

Ideal for basic test applications, the AC6800 series is ideal for ensuring products operate properly when exposed to voltage fluctuations, extreme inrush current and transient spikes. The power sources offer intuitive user interfaces that make measurement easy to access and view via the front panel or via Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) commands.

Each power source comes equipped with LAN/LXI Core and USB interfaces, with the option for a GPIB interface. With the LAN/LXI interface, testers can control each supply via a standard Web interface. Users can also add an analog input board to enable adding transient waveforms.

The Agilent AC6800 basic AC power sources are available now starting at $3,498.
