ANSYS has completed the acquisition of Reaction Design, a developer of chemistry simulation software. The company will provide further details regarding the transaction and its impact on the 2014 financial outlook at the time of its 2013 year-end earnings announcement.
Headquartered in San Diego, Reaction Design has about 25 employees and more than 400 customers around the world. Its flagship product, CHEMKIN-PRO, is used for modeling and simulating gas-phase and surface chemistry.
