Autodesk has announced 2014 versions of AutoCAD for Mac and AutoCAD LT for Mac.
The new releases support Apple's Retina display technology, which can provide enhanced clarity and sharpness. Users can also sync documents using Autodesk 360 cloud accounts.
Similar to eTransmit in AutoCAD for Windows, the new Package Drawing feature allows users to collect related files into a compressed folder for easy distribution or storage. New security enhancements help prevent loading and running "unauthorized or malicious" AutoLISP applications. Autodesk is also offering new online assistance features.
The software supports Apple's recently announced OSX Mavericks release.
