SPRING Technologies Releases NCSIMUL Machine 9

Company also unveils NCEXPERIENCE Smart Solutions strategy.

| Published February 6, 2013

SPRING Technologies has launched NCSIMUL Machine 9, the latest release of its machine simulation software. According to the company, the software was developed to interconnect with other software packages including MRP (Material Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

Updates include simplified ergonomics and tighter integration, as well as increased performance via algorithms that have been revised to support ISO decoding, probing, material removal with tools in 3D, and optimized cutting conditions.

The software also now features a 3D functional dimensioning module for sub-contractors.

SPRING also announced the implementation of its strategy based on the new NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS portfolio supporting end-to-end manufacturing processes for NC machines and its smart solutions philosophy.

The NCEXPERIENCE combines smart solutions and an enriched user experience. According to the company, it will allow customers to gain end-to-end control of their machining process, integrating the creation of cutting tool libraries, optimized cutting conditions, simulation and optimized NC programs, plus the ability to publish the manufacturing data needed by operators in the workshop.
