ZWCAD Mechanical 2012 SP1 Available

Provides collaboration capabilities, additional card templates.

| Published January 25, 2013

ZWSOFT unveiled ZWCAD Mechanical SP1, an upgrade pack which improves on performance in project data management, according to the company.

The solution is a ZWCAD+ based software for manufacturing, which includes all the functionalities of ZWCAD+. With comprehensive libraries of standard-based parts and mechanical tools for design and drafting, it accelerates the mechanical design process, the company says.

The TeamVault feature allows multiple users to design in collaboration simultaneously via LAN and WAN. In addition, by using the managed tree, they can record the operation process and manage the product data in a more efficient and intuitive way.

The Super Card feature provides more types of commonly used card templates; users can easily customize and edit their own table template. The Enhanced Rectangle feature provides for more accurate creations of rectangles and squares, while Power Eras lets designers erase selected objects. Dimensions will automatically adjust if a related object is erased.
