TraceParts announced new yearly record high traffic numbers of its flagship engineering portal, www.TracePartsOnline.net. Launched in 2001, TracePartsOnline.net recorded more than 33 million CAD models downloads and 3.7 million unique visitors in 2012, showing a 25% increase over 2011 as measured by Google Analytics.

For the global engineering community, the website delivers technical data on more than 100 million products from hundreds of supplier catalogs of purchased parts.

TracePartsOnline.net had more than 3.3 million pages indexed on Google as of December 2012 and it recorded a monthly average of 6 million page views in 2012.

"TraceParts has always been an innovative pioneer for the creation and publishing of technical product data. We've started business operations 20 years ago with 2D CAD block libraries and then we've launched the first 3D version of TracePartsOnline.net as early as 2001 when the Internet was not yet so popular among design engineers," said Gabriel Guigue, TraceParts managing director. "Last year our site metrics have outperformed all our expectations and this clearly benefited to the hundreds of part vendors who have partnered with us to maximize the marketing exposure of their products."
