ZW3D 2013 CAD/CAM Arrives

Current users can upgrade for free until March.

| Published January 14, 2013

ZWSOFT announced that ZW3D 2013 will be launched in March. If users purchase ZW3D 2012, they will receive an upgrade to the 2013 version at no additional cost between January 10th and the launch date.

The 2013 release offers users better visual effects, optimized modeling and assembly performance, friendly sketch, and a simplified workflow in the CAD module, including up to 10-times faster history replay, the company says.

The intelligent CAM module makes machining easier and safer, which enhances the workflow and reduces design errors before production. The new mold module enables users to customize their designs, including sprue gates, runners, mold bases and other mold standard parts.

"Mold design has never been so easy before," said Colin Lin, ZW3D technical manager. "We want to make that the software is as easy to use as possible for our customers, so that more time and effort can be focused on creative ideas."
