| Published January 6, 2013

Kisters announced release 11.4 of the 3DViewStation. Enhancements include updates of the importers to read Catia V5 R22, Catia V6 2013 and SolidEdge ST5. A new importer has been added to support 3D-PDF reading. Together with the 3D-PDF export option, the Kisters 3DViewStation now allows reading and writing of 3D-PDF.

3DViewStation provides default settings for searching, which now have been extended by the ability to define several additional relative or absolute search paths. In the area of selections, a new function allows selections to be extended by clicking an object in the graphics pane repeatedly. Finally, there a two new analysis functions for volume and surface, which can be leveraged once a model has been loaded in BREP mode.

The solution is available as Desktop and ActiveX product-version, 32-bit and 64-bit, shipping with an Office 2010-compliant user interface. There are seat and floating licenses available. All enhancements of the KISTERS 3DViewStation are available in the Desktop version as well as in the ActiveX integration component, which is intended to be used together with a PLM- or other management system.
