3DBoxx 8950 Workstation Now Available

Features dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors.

BOXX Technologies' 3DBOXX 8950 workstation has been released. It is targeted at advanced visualization, simulation, and computation applications, and includes up to four dual slot add in graphics, coprocessor, or accelerator cards, and three additional PCI-E slots.

Featuring a new chassis, dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processors, and up to 16 processing cores, the liquid-cooled 3DBOXX 8950 also includes twelve total add-in card slots for advanced multi-card configurations.

The dual processors and cores accommodate multi-threading, multiple applications, and complex production pipelines, the company says. The system comes with up to 512GB system memory.
