SYSPRO 7 ERP Available

Company unveils new Espresso mobile application.

| Published December 10, 2012

SYSPRO announced that its SYSPRO 7 ERP solution will be available for general market release in 2013. The new solution is currently in "community preview" to SYSPRO resellers and partners.

SYSPRO is expanding its user interface (UI) capabilities. Styled along the lines of Windows 8, SYSPRO 7 brings active tiles and touch capabilities to its enterprise UI, enabling manufacturers and distributors to create tailor-fit environments for their SYSPRO.

The system provides faster processing for higher transactional throughput, and a new mobile platform enables anywhere access and improved reporting capabilities including remote report generation.

The new SYSPRO Espresso mobile platform is purpose built and leverages HTML 5, Microsoft technology and tools. "SYSPRO Espresso is targeted at executives who require immediate access to c-level information as well as all users that are not office bound and who require secure access to real time data," said Phil Duff, CEO of SYSPRO. "The SYSPRO Espresso architecture is one of the first platforms of its kind to use a single source codebase (for the business logic) to create native applications for any mobile device, with built-in powerful customization capabilities both for the end-user and for developers to engage. The compelling benefit derived from this strategy is easy access to SYSPRO at lower costs of development combined with a high degree of product quality."

The Espresso architecture enables full customization by both the user to adjust how the user interface behaves, as well as by the developer through the use of components (building blocks) to add business functionality in the back-end on the server.

Using a cloud infrastructure, SYSPRO's Software + Services deploy methodology will enable SYSPRO 7 to be installed easily and remotely with one click, and allow organizations to run SYSPRO in a WAN/LAN environment efficiently, the company says.
