K2D Releases Kubotek KeyView v11.6 CAD Viewer

Users can compare different part revision statuses.

| Published November 30, 2012

K2D-KeyToData, development partner of the software producer Kubotek, has released the KeyView v11.6 CAD Viewer.

New in this version is the function for visual comparison of parts (model compare) that enables users to compare different revision statuses of parts. Users can set different colors and transparencies for the parts in the compare view. The model compare function also works with different file formats. Users can customize the user interface according to their individual usage patterns. Other new features include hyperlinks for parts, an index analysis, and additional file formats.

Based on user requests, KeyView now offers the borrowing of floating licenses. This new feature allows the user to borrow a KeyView license from the pool, for example, for an outside appointment with a customer.

The company also released KeyPrint Print Management, an optional add-on module for Kubotek KeyView that helps automate large print jobs, and the stand-alone KeyView Office tool for viewing, annotating and publishing a number of different file formats. It supports Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, TIF/TIFF and other image file formats.
