GstarCAD MC PRO Officially Released

Users can directly transmit and convert drawings between mobile devices.

| Published October 1, 2012

GstarCAD has released GstarCAD MC PRO, the next generation of its GstarCAD Mobile Client solution. It can read and save .dwg files directly; users never need to convert the .dwg file to an .ocf file by GstarCAD Windows Edition, the company says. Users simply connect their iPad\iPhone\iTouch to a PC and upload the drawings to GstarCAD MC Pro. The .dwg drawings can be easily browsed by users anywhere and anytime.

The solution also includes the ability to download attachments from e-mails, network disks and Web pages. The files can be opened up anywhere and anytime, the company says. To transmit a drawing via iTunes, users connect an iOS device to a PC with a USB cable, open iTunes and switch the page of the device, choose the application in the menu, find GstarCAD MC PRO in file sharing section and click the "Add" button. Then, the drawings will be added into local drawing page system. Users can send the drawings to their e-mail boxes or network disks, then download the files to GstarCAD MC PRO to browse and edit. Users also can send the drawings, which are edited and annotated by GstarCAD MC PRO, as attachment to share with others.
