MecSoft Europe GmbH has announced the release of MecSoft’s JewelMILL CAM software. JewelMILL provides computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to jewelry designers and goldsmiths. It is specifically adapted to Roland milling machines, and integrated into the 3D modeling system Rhinoceros. It provides a jewelry model production solution that allows the user to manufacture wax models of rings, pendants, bracelets, brooches, earrings, and cufflinks. Based on MecSoft’s ViusalMILL technology, JewelMILL’s wizard-based user interface offers support for 4-axis milling including simulation of finished 3D models.
