Seac02 has launched LinceoVR 4 ALL, a new version of its LinceoVR software, which integrates the functionalities of render realtime and augmented
reality.

Linceo VR enables importing of three dimensional models generated by CAD programs. They can be customized with different materials and colors. Realtime raytracing in augmented reality is a lighting technique for the realtime display of 3D objects in realistic computer graphics set in the real world.

Thanks to augmented reality, each virtual prototype can then be contextualized in the real world, using a webcam. Companies can compare the design of their products with that of competitors. Clients have a means of trying products virtually. With LinceoVR Viewer, which can be downloaded for free from the Seac02 website, the virtual prototypes of the new products can be shared via e-mail with colleagues or clients.
