Mechdyne Releases Conduit V2.6 Software for Real-time 3D Visualization

Conduit V2.6 performance improvements boost speed.

| Published July 1, 2009

Mechdyne Corporation has released Conduit V2.6, its real-time graphics distribution software that displays desktop applications in 3D stereo and virtual reality environments.

Compatible with engineering, design, and geoscience applications such as CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER, NX, 3ds Max, Maya, ESRI, Schlumberger Petrel, and Google Earth, Conduit enables users to view and interact with application data. It drives graphics through PC clusters to support advanced visualization environments, including immersive displays such as the CAVE and PowerWall, and ultra-high resolution tiled projection environments.

The new release of Conduit allows users to navigate and interact with models faster than before. Depending upon the particular data model and application, the new version of Conduit achieves a two- to10-times improvement in performance compared to its previous version, according to the company. When working with large datasets such as aerospace, automotive, and large terrain models in immersive displays, interaction and analysis becomes more natural.

Conduit is compatible with any existing advanced visualization system and virtual reality environment. Mechdyne can also provide an integrated visualization solution that includes Conduit, graphics computing and a range of display solutions.
