Cranes Software Releases NISA Version 16.0

One new feature is a faster multi-core solver for the structural, fluid, heat, and EMAG (electromagnetic) modules.

Cranes Software International Limited (Bangalore, India), a provider of enterprise statistical analytics and engineering simulation software products and solutions, released NISA Version 16.0. This version comes with more than 50 new features and marks a significant improvement over the previous version.

A few new features include a faster multi-core solver for the structural, fluid, heat, and EMAG (electromagnetic) modules; improvements in Non-Linear Static Analysis Capabilities for 3D Contact Element with Friction and introduction of Concrete element; and the CAD Interfaces module now supports STEP, UG and Inventor formats with considerable enhancements in healing.

Other features include the popular COM style Plug-In development framework in DIPSLAY IV; surface meshing is improved with the inclusion of Advanced Surface Meshing capability; and the MACRO functionality in DISPLAY has been enhanced to better support Parametric Modeling.
