Reimage Launches Online PC Repair Service

Professional technicians and IT staff can fix broken PCs in 30 minutes.

| Published July 16, 2008

Reimage (Ramat Gan, Israel) launched its online PC repair service tool for professional technicians and IT staff, empowering them to repair Windows XP issues in about 30 minutes, while leaving data and applications intact.

Using patented technology, the Reimage web-based repair tool automatically restores Windows XP-based PCs to an original working state, without reinstalling anything. The "fix," completed in about 30 minutes, leaves all user data and applications intact. Currently the service supports Windows XP, with more operating systems coming soon, says the company.

Reimage works by scanning the entire system including all files, folders, registry keys, values, drivers, and stacks. It then compares what it finds to an extensive database that includes millions of system objects, drivers, and applications.

The service can also repair XP-based PCs that cannot boot up. Using a free, comprehensive Windows XP boot CD, technicians can run Reimage on severely damaged PCs to restore the Windows XP to an original, stable condition.

Many times, users reported computers that were just about to be reformatted at the cost of losing valuable and sometimes irreplaceable user data, were brought back to life and full functionality after being repaired using Reimage.

The service is open for registering IT and PC repair professionals through Reimage.
