CSoft Launches WiseImage 11 for AutoCAD 2009

Solves the problem of incorporating scanned raster data into a CAD environment.

| Published May 2, 2008

CSoft AS (Lillestrom, Norway), a global raster-vector graphics software developer, released WiseImage 11 for AutoCAD, which enables AutoCAD to perform intelligently with raster, and supports the latest version of AutoCAD — AutoCAD 2009.

WiseImage11 for AutoCAD solves the problem of incorporating scanned raster data into a CAD environment by adding native CAD-style raster editing and raster-to-vector conversion inside AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based verticals from Autodesk to facilitate revision creation and new drawing production. WiseImage 11 for AutoCAD includes all technology and research results from previous years, states the release, and ushers in a new era of integration between CAD and image processing.

WiseImage 11 for AutoCAD offers a professional set of enhancement tools to be applied to black/white as well as grayscale and color images. WiseImage allows users to edit, update, and convert (both semi-automatically and automatically) to vectors scanned maps, drawings, sketches, and other graphics. True ObjectARX technology, the possibility to use AutoCAD dialogs and settings, and an advanced customizable interface, make WiseImage 11 suitable for a wide range of applications, including GIS, cadastral, aerial and satellite image processing, architecture, engineering, schematics, and more.

WiseImage 11 for AutoCAD features AutoCAD 2009, 2008, 2007 and AutoCAD LT 2007 support; the raster image height can be up to two billion pixels; Collect Polylines command is for assembling polylines resulting from the trace or automatic vectorization commands; various automatic raster-to-vector conversion and tracing options for black and white, color and grayscale images; and more.
