Datakit's CAD Data Translator Plug-ins Certified for Inventor 2009

Translators have met the standards established by Autodesk for interoperability, quality, and robustness.

| Published April 30, 2008

Datakit (Santa Barbara, CA), a CAD data exchange company, announced that its CAD Data translator plug-ins have been certified for Inventor 2009. This certification ensures that these translators have met the standards established by Autodesk in terms of interoperability, quality, and overall robustness. According to Autodesk, interoperability is a major theme for Inventor 2009 because in today's world of integrated supply chains, designers increasingly need to work with 3D data from customers and suppliers.

Five native plug-ins dedicated to Inventor (read, write) are available on Datakit's website. They do not request any additional licenses as for example CATIA V4, CATIA V5, or Solidworks and allow quick and reliable translation of parts as well as assemblies. Among them, CATIA V5 to Inventor is available on Windows platforms, 32 and 64 bits supported for Inventor 2009.
