At 10 MSps, the 12-bit waveform digitizer features simultaneous sampling and streaming.

| Published March 21, 2008

Strategic Test Corp. (Woburn, MA) has announced the UF2e-3120 two-channel 10 MSps 12-bit waveform digitizer PCI Express card. Signals of up to 2 GS can be recorded to the card memory or streamed at full rate to the host PC. Features include the options for dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O, and the possibility to synchronize up to 542 channels.

Drivers and programming examples for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP, and Linux (RedHat, Fedora, SuSe, Sarge) are supplied with the card, as well as the SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program. SDK's for MATLAB, LabVIEW, Agilent-VEE, DASYLab, and LabWindows/CVI are available as options.

Key specifications include 32 MS memory (expandable to 2 GS), continuous 120 MSps streaming to host PC, 10.6 bits . 66.0 dB signal-to-noise ratio, -63.0 dB total harmonic distortion, 5 MHz standard bandwidth. There are eight input voltage ranges from ±50 mV to ±10 V, a programmable offset of ±100%, and input impedances of 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm allow each channel to be individually configured for the signal source.

Like all UltraFast boards, the UF2e-3120 waveform digitizer cards can be customized with hardware options to best match the application:

Prices start at $3,990 with volume/OEM discounts available. Visit strategic-test.com for details.
