eMachineShop (Midland Park, NJ), an online machineshop, announced free online CAD training program for all site visitors. The offering, could be the first of its type for a free CAD software system with direct manufacturing capability.

The training sequence includes 17 different Flash videos that can be viewed online, or they may be downloaded for offline use. Topics covered include basic drawing techniques, how to select materials, and selecting various machining operations.
